well ofcourse many of you know her for Paper planes, but my favorite song by her is def Jimmy. Any other fan? Do you guys prefer Kala or Arular? And whats your fave song of hers?

Definitely Kala is my favorite album by her. It's a toss up between Bamboo Banga and Jimmy for my all time favorite MIA song.

haha i'm gonna start a fight between the "tools" and "real fans" oops
but I love Bucky done gun, still over all i love kala more. Boyz is AMAZING.

Maya is by far my favorite graphic artist/music video director/singer-songwriter/deity, she's not just one of them pretty girls with braindead catchy texts and a danceable beat, she's got an actuall message.
I fell in love with her since the leaked versions of "Galang" and "Piracy Funds Terrorism Volume 1" with Diplo, so yeah, I'm an old "Lady Killa".
MTV and Letterman can censor the bang-bang-bang and ka-ching as long as they want, and MTV can refuse to air "Sunshowers", because like P.L.O. she won't surrendo, she keeps on defying the lethargic meaningless refuse that music today has become. We need you, Maya.
That's not music, that's a religion.

thats really all i have to say to you

Love both her albums. "Kala" stands up well to "Aurular."

My favorite M.I.A. song changes because I listen to her all the time. Right now it's:

Mango Down River Pickle.

But I also love the following song where she sings, "Where is my mind?" It's very trippy.

It's so weird to me the she's somewhat of a popstar now. "10 Dollar" is my favorite song of hers.

"Boyz" is about to blow up, if everything goes as planned.
