"Like Madonna, who is well known for her ever-changing image, the Australian pop star has reinvented herself as a Greek goddess.

Posing as Aphrodite, the goddess of Love, on the cover of her latest album, Kylie announced details of her return.

The cover shows the former Neighbours star in flowing, windswept blue robes, arms held aloft and looking to the heavens in the shot.

Details of the Kylie's return were released on her website along with a short clip from her forthcoming single All The Lovers.

While her fans were waiting for the preview, the star wrote on her Twitter page: "I am so happy to share this little *snippet* of the first single with you all."

She added: "The single was one of the last tracks to be written for the album.

"As I was recording it I knew that it had to be the first single - it sums up the euphoria of the album perfectly."

"It gives me goose-bumps, so I'm really excited to hear what everyone thinks of it."
