Is anybody else sick to fucking death of:

  1. "How do I tell my straight friend that I like him?"
  2. "Is this celeb gay?"
  3. "Ever sniffed dad's crotch?"
  4. "Can I have some vids of X, Y, or Z?"
Or any of the other duplicated and ridiculously pointless threads that are choking up the boards these days?

I mean for fucks sake people, use the search function!! If you did you'd find out that

  1. The thread has probably been done 100 times before
  2. We probably didn't give a fuck the first time, and we still don't, so don't fucking bother

Saddly, your coments are not new... I have made such statements in the past (before I took a long vacation from JUB)... and I have to report, the more it changes, the more it stays the same. I guess you learn to ignore it. After 18 months I guess I missed it a bit. But I can say one thing, it goes in waves... be patient, it's only a matter of time before there's something juicy to sink your teeth into once again...
 
Yes it's bothersome. However, some threads get terrible long. I wouldn't mind if one of them started over.
 
I can imagine... if a topic gets repeated 1000 times, I get sick&tired of it too.
 
I hate to rain on your rant but in my opinion it has always been this way. There's always been request threads that come and go within a matter of a day and congratulations threads that just go on and on about someone managing to stay glued to their keyboards long enough to achieve repetitive strain injury. If you can manage it, why not do something else if the computer is boring you so much? Or you could start a brand new thread that no one has thought of before?

I used to be on JUB all the time, but recently I've quickly skimmed the boards and my expectations have gotten lower each time. I'm hardly on it at all now, so I actually have been doing other things.

And J Mills, How am I supposed to know what's in a thread without reading the title? I never said I opened the threads up and read them..
 
I have to agree with you. I was commenting to my PM buddy about it yesterday. I find the boards very boring lately. I don't know how other people don't get tired of the same threads over and over and over.

So very, very true. A good thread gets 20 hits a day. Start a thread about cock or asholes and it gets 300 hits a hour and the good threads is forgotten.

Incidently, I count simple humorous threads and threads about everyday life as good ones.
 
Aw, cmon' guys...

Being gay isn't easy, and the majority of the threads show that, sexual frustration, sexual encounters, questions, family issues, it's all laid out there. No matter how "bored" YOU are of it, you gotta realize that everyone of us is at a different level in their homo-timeline. Ya gotta give some respect to that...

Damn, I mean I'm sorry I posted such repeticious things, but the responses I have received back have been SO damn helpful... so I have to kind of say "fu," JUB is awesome, and it makes me feel like a stronger person knowing I'm not alone.

My two cents.

In other sites, there are superthreads on the same topic. Why not merge those million threads about, let's say "Brent Corrigan's Legal vids lulzx00rs!" into one?
 
Or make subforums on "Is he gay?", etc etc and people can post under that.
Just a thought.

My error, I wasn't making myself clear. Someone was making the usual stupid comment of "If you don't want to read it don't open the thread". I was implying that I know what the thread is about simply by reading the title.

I was clear as mud on that point :confused:
