if its ok to take antibiotics before a blood test?

dynk or anyone who may know.

I doubt it is okay but if you do let the lab tech know what you took prior to the test.

yep, adidas..thats right. I guess since he said nothing, I would think its ok.(but not sure)

I too agree that taking your medication should NOT intefere with the blood test; except where cholosterol checking is done and then I think you must fast, say NO food/drink (except water) after midnight....

I think taking your normal prescribed meds is OK; if NOT specifically told NOT to take them, then I would....

......But, tell the lab technician that you took your meds.....or, just wait until after the blood draw and then take them if you're worried and canNOT ask your Doc....(*8*) (*8*)

I think it all depends on the test, but, just let the lab know and I reckon you'll be OK!

what kind of blood test are you taking?

It says on my sheet a CBC (W.B.C count) and mono test.

I have not been feeling well for 2 weeks now and I feel extremley tired.
