I'm surprised to see the reaction Boston had to the electric signs placed on bridges and overpasses. Bills are posted at locations like these regularly. I think the Mayor of Boston and his terrorist team need to pause and think a little more before reacting. The reaction to the signs created the terror not the signs.

Am I totally in the dark?

I agree with you. It's completely retarded that they reacted this way. Here in Philly they are going around taking down all 56 of the AS lightup ATHF adverts because of the reaction Boston had.

OMG!!!

I saw it at my school (Boston University)!!!!!

I was walking by the registrar building one night and saw this funny looking bright-light sign with this cartoonish figure.... I was like wtf?

Yeah, I heard it was a bunch of LEDs. If that's the case, that's completely stupid that the media blew this into a huge issue and that Boston reacted this way.

My understanding was that they were in packages. If so, then yes, that's just stupid in this day and age. If they were the actual LED panels, then yes, it was an over-reaction. Either way, arresting the guys who put up the signs is just silly. They should go after their bosses.

The were just LEDs on a circuitboard with 4 D batteries. No package or anything like that. I don't think anyone should get sued or fined. Actually, no. Boston should be sued and fined for being run and staffed by complete morons. A goodle search would have shown them what the signs were in 1 second. Hell, they could have asked anyone in the age range of 15-30 and they would have gotten an explanation.
