are masculine gay guys only in porn?

Are they even real. Most of the gay guys I've met aren't feminine but aren't truly masculine either. Do they really exist or are they just in porn?

Well I figure you have to define what you mean by masculine here.
If you are talking about guys that are muscular, like the body builder type, then yep, there are many gay guys like that.
If you mean guys that don't act feminine then I'd say yeah, most gay guys don't act feminine.
So are you talking body type or how a person acts?
 
There are masculine gay guys, sure. There are all sorts of gay guys. But not all will look like porn models -- and the ones that do are probably not as slutty as you'd like. :-)
 
I don't know what you mean by 'truly masculine'. I doubt most of the guys I mix with, of whatever sexual preference, would be that.

I have about 9 gay guys in my circle of friends. None of them looks androgynous. One of them is a little feminine sometimes, but it's hard to know how much of that is an act. He's pretty much in a class of his own in general. The others seem to have no issues with being guys, they like 'guy' things.

Most of them are more or less conscious of being gay guys, but that's not the same thing ... As such they may camp it up occasionally in the same way that some of my straight friends will occasionally play up the alpha male. But it's not how they behave when they're not being self-consciously gay.

I have also met gay guys who seemed to think they were a woman trapped in a man's body, but we didn't hit it off, so maybe my sample is biased.
 
Let's just say if you're waiting to find a guy like you've seen in porn films, I hope you look really good in blue.

I personally wouldn't think masculine guys end their sentences with "lol".
