  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Are these 2 different guys or same guy?

Just going to return to this.

Haha nothing to care about. I was just trying to get peoples opinion if it's the same guy or 2 different guys. My brain kept telling its the same guy one moment and 2 different guys another.

Anyway, image is deleted.

^ But you're still not going to tell us what this wild goose chase was all about, are you?

Images, just like written publications, are automatically copyrighted to the person who created them. This is true even if the creator does not explicitly claim copyright. It is not necessary to register with any government copyright office to receive this protection.

In cases involving an image that is in the public domain but that depicts an identifiable person, the poster should still obtain permission from that person before republishing the image.

If you find your image posted on a website that you did not authorize, you first should reach out to the individual who posted it and demand they remove it. If that person refuses, you can then take a legal stance. If the image is posted in such a way as to harm your reputation or create a false impression of you, it may be defamation. In any case, unauthorized publication likely represents invasion of privacy.

Oh come on. Nobody owns the right to their own image. If that weren't the case, there wouldn't be cameras literally everywhere.

I read about a photographer who, in an attempt to capture scenes of domesticity, photographed the couple in the apartment across from his. Watching TV, eating dinner, coming home from work, even in various stages of undress. He either published these photos or had an exhibit (I don't remember) and when the couple found out they sued him. The judge threw it out.

Not saying I agree with this. I don't like being photographed without my knowledge, and I would hate to stumble across pics of myself somewhere (dick pics ok) but that's the way it is, apparently.

This guy is lucky someone hasn't made a meme of this image.

Oops I spoke too soon.

No worries, Dominus, I made this privately and even if he sees it he will have no legal recourse.

That is surprisingly mean-spirited coming from you. And so callous.

Sorry I guess, but I don't know what you mean.

Was it the meme? I still don't get it.

Was it disagreeing with Kahaih? And you? I meant no disrespect. Sometimes I have issues with tact.

Help me out here.
