I would say I am pretty far in the closet even though I have come out to 1 person, my sister. I have chatted with guys online and would like to start daiting in the near future but I am horrified of being outed in public. I dont own my own PC so I have to use it at one of the computer labs at the University and I find myself allways looking over my shoulder, this is one of the reasons I wish I was straight so I wouldent have to fear being hatted or discrimiated against just on sexual orientation.
 
Well this is a porn site, and I think looking on porn sites in public is pretty frowned up, gay or straight.
 
I feel better if there are no ads on the pages and I'm not reading a thread that's titled with the words cock or ass or fuck or something.

I think its the porn aspect of JUB that bothers me in public.

You know I think I sometimes forget this is a porn sight , since I spend more time reading the threads. But it is kind of strange poping wood in public with the nice pics up top !
 
I agree with above that I don't read it in public mainly b/c of the porn pics... that is frowned upon gay or str8. If those weren't there, I would have no problem reading it in public.

I'm also glad I'm not the only one that forgets that this is a porn site. haha. And yet, way back when I joined, that's why I came here... the hunks, jocks and fratboy page. I haven't been there since they had the whole copyright issue and that was a long time ago. haha.

I could not agree more. I sometimes look at Jub in public places and the ads are a problem.

There are others that make me feel ill -- but even so, when I really get into the boards, I forget its a porn site, because my mind tunes out everything else. The only time I'm really aware of it is when I go to an internet cafe or such; then I either find a corner spot where my screen faces the wall, or... don't JUB. The only exception is two gay bars I go to, when I can get out of my dinky stinky little town.

I don't ever barely even go on the porn part of JUB. I check out a few forums but there is still cock pics everywhere. I wouldn't look in public. Even though most of my chat is celebs and relationship questions.
 
I've been reading and posting in the forums on a computer in the public library here, and found that all I need is to be quick with the scroll wheel on the mouse, dumping the porn banners at the top.

Where I hand out there aren't that many. Suggestive, teasing, yes, but not much real porn. I mean, you can see dudes in their underwears in the Sunday ads, and that covers most of the stuff that comes anywhere near being porn.

Just for comparison, my most common forums are the safe zone ones, plus Fun and Games, Current Events and Politics, and a dip into Hot Topics on occasion when I've caught up with everything else I care to. What are yours? It might be interesting to see if some forums have more pron-type siggies and avatars than others.
