Very excited just read on The Wrap that Armie Hammer has got a new gay drama coming out Call Me By My Name. Armie Hammer is really handsome but he never really had the opportunity to show his range as an actor. He did a gay film with Leo Dicarpio a few years ago about J Edgar Hoover but that film went nowhere it got no critical acclaim. He did a movie with Michael Fassbender but the box office was just decent not spectacular. I hope this movie is Armie breakthrough. The movie has already been sold in the low to mid seven figures! This is fantastic! It is so nice to see a young male actor take on a gay role. Armie is the lead and this looks really good. He's good to look at, terrible actor though, hopefully he'll suit this role.
 
I read the book several years ago. It was a great book. Looking forward to seeing this movie. Hope it lives up to being as good as the book!
 
‘Call Me By Your Name’ has gotten great reviews at Sundance. I can't wait to see it. :D

I read that there is a scene with Timothée fucking a peach! :eek:

That peach is what will get people buzzing about this film, thanks to Guadagnino’s clever teasing throughout the entire film of the pivotal scene. His own foreplay, of sorts. Maybe word of mouth about it is what will entice a wider swath of filmgoers to the movie, aside from the LGBT demographic that is already desperate to see the film.

Does anyone know who will be doing the soundtrack for this movie...??? I really wanted Rihanna or Lady Gaga or Killswitch Engage to do it.
 
He is gorgeous. I think he played a gay man in the Leonardo Dicapprio J. Edgar movie.
 
Does anyone know when this movie is coming out? If you have never read the book before you should. I read the book and I enjoyed it very much. I am looking forward to the movie.
 
I found that trailer to be creepy. The young guy looks underage, and the older guy looks like his pervy uncle.

For anyone who has not read the book, Read it is very good. The book is usually better than the movie. Most of the time anyways!
