OK I AM NOT A FAN BUT HER NEW SINGLE POSITIVELY ROCKS MY SOCKS.

GRANTED I CANT RELATE TO THE LYRICS BECAUSE UNLIKE HER I KNOW HOW TO KEEP A MAN SO HE DOESN'T CHEAT BUT I STILL LOVE THIS SONG TO PIECES AND CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT.


AND SHE SEEMED TO GET VOCAL TRAINING BECAUSE SHE SOUNDS BETTER.

And she does sound a thousand times better. I've never been a huge fan of Ashanti (I loved her singles, but never enough to buy her album) but if she sounds like this on her new album (is there going to be one?), I may have to.
 
Hey...the new system updates posts without refreshing the whole thread? I posted and the song wasn't disturbed so I can only assume.
 
yea it is good. i always liked ashanti. her vocals have improved. people said she can't sing but none of the girls that are hot right now are amazing singers. look at rihanna, hilary duff, vanessa hudgens. at least ashanti always wrote most of her own songs. i remember watching ashanti's diary a while back and she was warming up singing a mary j blige song and her voice was so strong and good. but for some reason she never recorded songs like that. i guess she knew she had to step it up this time.
 
i thought her new single was gonna be "Hey Baby (After The Club)" with Mario Winans, it is on itunes, but i love ashanti, Happy is def. my favorite song of hers
 
Wow i heard it on the radio for the first time today and i got so excited, it made me realize how much i like it.
 
I think I see and hear HATERZ on ASHANTI???? lol I Love Ashanti, she is great. All her song mean something so strong about relatioships and life. GOTTA LOVE SHANTI

Hey Baby is a hot track. It was suppose 2 be the new single but I think something happen cause I never heard on the radio, just on iTunes as well.
 
She was promting it on TV toay.

This is another Ashanti song that I really liked. Heard it on the radio & a Sirius music channel a few months ago, but nothing more came of it (reminds me of Diddy/Keyshia Cole's Last Night)
