Are you asking about an opinion of the song or Madonna? Admittedly, I just watched the video online for the first time. As for Madonna, I remember the first time I saw her on MTV back in the day. Then my parents came into the room and started chanting and talking in tongues. This is of course coming from someone who didn't have cable/Sat TV or the internet until my Freshmen year in high school. The next day I walked into the local dial-up service and paid for it myself. This is also coming from someone who listed "easy listening" on that college form that tried to pair you up with a roommate as "What type of music do you listen to most often?" I have a suspicion my answers directly related to the reason why I was paired with an amazing roommate. He was a great guy but lacked social graces. He would walk to the cafeteria buy his lunch in a take out form and then eat it in the dorm everyday. So at some point when I wasn't 'busy' I noticed what was happening. So I invited him to lunch with some other students I hung around with and that was that. He stopped eating his meals in his room and every time I saw him afterward he was a part of their group.
