Asking a guy out at his workplace?

Sorry, man. I know most of us have been through this type of situation where a guy blows us off. It happened to me recently where a guy requested me as a friend. We had plans to go see a play together, but he never contacted me again. Even though, he was the one that had set up the entire date. It's funny how my friends always say I'm lucky to deal with guys, and not girls. Since girls are so unpredictable. I beg to differ. Gay guys are sometimes hard to read. Good luck, man. I hope it ends better. :)

Judging by the story so far, he IS interested. But yes, it is Christmas, some people literally turn off their phones while with their families, etc. Don't go into funk mode, cause that will transmit in whatever interaction you end up having. And don't message him on FB either. Just give it a few days, and then try again.

You all are right in that I should probably wait a few days. I'm thinking a lot more clearly now that Ive had some sleep. My last post was right after I got home from working an 11 hour shift at work so I was pretty mentally exhausted. I suppose in a few days I'll be back to this thread to let everyone know what happens!

hi EI-221,

Thanks for the update, and please take your time. Don't push him too much, as you also don't have any idea how busy he is right now. There can be 1,000 or more reasons why he is at the moment very busy with all kind of things (work. private, what ever). So I agree on this topic with others.

Besides that, you have the huge advantage that you keep meeting him very frequently, as he is working in the same mall. So more then enough opportunities in the very nearby future to meet each other again face-to-face.

So please don't be too disappointed if it will take some time to re-contact him.

I would like to wish you all the best, and be sure to have enough sleep.

Best wishes & take care.
