Ive stored all my weight in my ass as long as i can remember, its now got to the point where I cant even wear certain clothes. I know the obvious answer is to lose weight but my ass is the last place i lose weight and the first place i gain it. I also have cellulite on it like a woman, and ive read that cellulite is very uncommon in men. I was wondering if i might have a hormonal inbalance and whether i should go see my doctor.

thanks in advance, ive attached a picture so you can see what i mean

well disagreement and a compliment , your ass looks good to me , you do not have as George Carlin put it , the typical Irish WASP ass , straight line from the shoulder to the heels .

Since it has bothered you for some time,I suggest you see a Doctor specializing in weight loss. I am not saying that I see something wrong, but it bothers you and I doubt if we can reassure you.

I, too, would say extra weight is the cause for this. Some people gain weight first on their tummy, others on the hips and certainly some also on the ass. But as you already know, even men can get cellulite. So just to be sure, you can consult with you doctor.

As many said, weightloss will be the answer. And no you can't spot-reduce, it will come off based on your genetics i guess.

doing squats, deadlifts, lunges etc will help though. As you lose the kilos, they will keep your butt firmer instead of flattening out.

I still have plenty of fat on my butt, but its part of your body too, having fat on your backside is a safety mechanism for falling down :)

Where you gain/store weight isn't only to do with hormones - whilst it's true some places are more "womanly" or feminine than others, a large percentage of it is to do with your genetics and DNA - regardless of whether you are a man or a woman. If you had a hormonal imbalance, I don't think having a big ass would be the only symptom... by now, you'd have noticed other things, I'm sure. So it's probably not that.

I'd kill for a bigger bum anyway - embrace it. I have thick thighs like my parents but that's about the end of it.

Yes, as I (and others) said ages ago already ..

Cellulite isn't as common in men as it is in women, but that does not necessarily mean you have a hormonal imbalance. If you suspect hormones you would likely see other symptoms too - low sex drive, gynecomestia (breasts), erectile dysfunction and fatigue.

I have seen guys with that much cellulite and the funny thing is all of them were gay. I think you should consult doctors who deal with sexualy physiology (e.g sex change doctors) they will tell you how best to go about transforming your body to being more masculine. They would probably recommend some HGH as well to get rid of excess fat
