Start your night early with your JUB friends! Everyone 18+ is invited, no matter where you live. The location selected will be one of the Midtown gay bars and will be somewhat dependent on the number expected to attend. This meet is designed not to take your entire night, but for those interested we will move the party to one of the more popular bars after 11:00PM.
Privacy – As some people are not out, you don’t have to give your name unless you are comfortable doing so. You can just go by your JUB screen name. We are requesting that no photos be taken. This event is about having fun and we all understand the privacy concerns that many members have.
Under 21 – If you are under 21 and would like to attend, please PM me. If I know there’s interest, I will do my best to select an appropriate bar. Any suggestions on bars would be greatly appreciated.
Location Suggestions – If you have suggestions for bars that would be good for the meet in Midtown, please let me know. As the purpose of the meet is to socialize with other JUB members, the place should be quiet enough that we can converse (conversate for you Jerry Springer fans) without yelling over the music/noise. We are not looking for places like Wet Bar, Jungle or Heretic. Those are all possible places to move the party to at 11:00PM. One suggestion is Burkhart’s, but I do know it can get kind of loud at times. What do you guys think?
RSVP – We need to know how many are interested! If interested, please post to this thread. Please indicate if you can definitely attend or what is the likelihood of your attendance. If you have a suggestion for location, post that as well. We need a count so that an appropriate bar can be selected.
