We have a couple GTO's at work (aka Holden Monaros) and they are pretty damn sweet. :D
 
Are they going to try the "reverse grid" idea again? Or have they abandoned it once more?

All the drivers seem to hate it - and no doubt the teams are tearing their hair out at the cost of the resulting carnage...but I can't help but think it could make for very entertaining racing if they got it sorted.

I used (many years ago) to watch stock car racing where they did this and it was very exciting - but then, the V8s make rather expensive stock cars I suppose. ;)

hehe - maybe they should try it in F1 too - after all, they keep copping all the flak about "boring, no passing outside of the pit stops" etc. :badgrin:
 
not a big fan of reverse grid either but least if you have dramas in the first race you know youll be sittin pretty in the second race
 
Love the v8 supercars, pretty much love motorsport in general. So who's ford and holden in here, always a fun debate! ..| Im a ford man and im kinda partial to james courtney as my fav driver seto isnt racing fulltime this year. :cry:
 
hey man im holden through and through but as a holden guy i have to say i hate mark skaife ( biggest whinger goin ) and my main man is greg murghy but am also a huge russell ingal fan guess that makes me bi !!!!!
 
He he, me 2! yeah i like most of the holden guys, skaife is a bit 2 cocky 4 me though.

I dunno mate... I know hes back on the Red team this year.... but its just hard to get excited about Rusty...

Its gonna be interesting to see how the shake up of the Red side works out this year...

Off to Adelaide in 11 more sleeps.... bring it on!!!!!
 
They were the GTO stateside, unfortunately the name gave people different impressions of what the car was and it flopped. However they just rolled out the G8 and it is absolutely stunning!
