Avatars

Looks pretty good to me! ..|

It looks good because it's one of the few good pictures I've taken and approved of :p.

In any case I took a new one today after the big game - My Roughriders won :D - and it is my new avatar.

Mine is not me, but just a picture I like. I guess it should be me, but not yet.
Kissing is one ofth emost intimate things. I think the picture is also artistic without being too tasteless.

Hmmn. I wondered where this thread went.

Well, I changed my Avatar. No more cut off heads! I like this one better. I took it against my white garage door yesterday as the sun was setting. And then I turned it into a negative and softened the colors a little.

I took a bunch of photos and a lot of them came out really good, to my surprise. I used my digital camera on a tripod and set the timer. That way I can get all of me in the photo.

So, since I was against the white door, I experimented with poses, shirt on and off, baseball cap on and off. Its hard not being able to see the pose before snapping the photo but it still worked out for the most part. Its fun to experiment with them in the computer - I just use free photo editing programs, like Irfanview.

The gorgeous creature to your left is me... or rather, was me, four years and fifty pounds ago. In the most incredibly flattering light. So I guess I should say that it's what I can look like but seldom do.

I occasionally consider putting up a picture of what I usually do look like, but I fear I'd lose what little credibility I possess. I mean, does this guy look like he's steeped in wisdom and wonderfulness?

(This is the other picture I consider using for my avatar, but I think it needs to be photoshopped first to get rid of the background.)

Thanks! It was fun to do, buzzj. Kind of got a charge out of it too, knowing I was going to post it. ;)

What he looks is CUTE!!! :) You are very good looking as either sex, Robert~Marlénè.

And Country John, I'm speechless! I think I'm going to study that Avatar a little longer.

The Story of my Avatar by Blackbeltninja

Mine is just a good ol' fashioned Biohazard logo, traditionally red on yellow background, warning people that it's something they shouldn't play with.

Not that I'm like that all the time, mind... and no, I don't have any nasty conditions which I am casually hinting at. With the exception of a somewhat off-colour sense of humour, perhaps.

As for the logo, I nicked it from the Christmas wrapping paper section of tshirthell.com and fiddled with the colours.

The End
