I'm 19 and I've been covered in hair since I was 15. My chest hair starts at my neck and goes down to my pubes. My back hair starts at the top of my neck and covers my ass, my shoulders are hairy too. Shaving anything would be extremely time consuming since I'm covered in thick dark hair. Is back hair really a bad thing to have if I never shave it, I mean I like it on guys, maybe some like it too. I'm kind of chubby and don't go shirtless much and public and too embarrassed to have someone wax it. What do you guys think?
 
Some guys love really hairy bodies. Go out some nights to a bar where leather men and bears hang out and see how it goes. I like hairy young men, btw.

Shaving sucks. The hair grows back in stiff like a beard which is a turn off. I dated a hairy boy who had his hair dresser trim his back hair but it still had the prickly feel......you would need a very good relationship with your barber for that.

Waxing is the best option if you want the hair gone. It hurts a bit but will last longer and over time the hair will get thinner and softer and the process becomes less painful. Electrolysis is another option but can get expensive and usually takes several sessions.
 
I was in your same situation when I was growing up - nothing you can really do - just appreciate and enjoy your hairy body. Unless you want constant upkeep - like more often than you get your hair cut, just let it go.
 
Nair For Men....great product. It worked for me on my back hair and easier then shaving.

I use Nair and trim everything else with a pair of clippers. It's just more comfortable that way. Especially in summer. I spent years getting my back waxed and it hurts.
