Hey everyone!
I just wanted to introduce myself and share my story. I am a 33 year old gay male from the Atlanta GA area.
I was on this forum when I was younger, somewhere between 2007-2012(ish). Unfortunately I have no idea what my old username was to look up my old account. I would be so curious to look back and see some of my old posts.
What I do know, is that this forum, and some of the people here were literal lifesavers for me back in the day, when I was just a terrified, closeted, gay boy from the south.
So much has changed for me in the time since then. I fell into addiction and eventually hit rock bottom. But I found my way, and am grateful to be in recovery for almost 4 years now. In my recovery, I came out and now live fully as a proud gay man. I recently finished cosmetology school, and got my cosmetology license.
I am looking forward to my next chapter, and am beyond excited to be back on this forum. Looking forward to meeting and interacting with you all!
