Didn't mean to derail... but let me introduce you to the Baltimore bologna dog."The classic meat-on-meat delicacy that was the invention of some Baltimore Jewish deli." One of my aunts from Baltimore introduced me to this local "delicacy" years ago. Apparently the Suburban House Deli, where I ate these fried bologna wrapped hot dog things burned down recently. You should try them. They'll contrast nicely with all your home grown produce.

But more on topic. Parts of Philadelphia have a similar accent, as mentioned but Baltimore has a slight Southern lilt added. Baltimore is only about 100 mi / 160km south of Phila. , but that puts you below the Mason and Dixon line.
