My bf wants to bareback, but we came to the conclusion that we wouldnt until we get tested together. However, I have a slight paranoia that there could be some discrepancies. Do you BB with you bf? Thoughts? Thanks.
 
What do you mean by discrepancies? I BB with my guy of 14 years. We were both extremely low mileage. When I asked, my doctor pointed out that given my history (or lack thereof) I could not have an STD.

Getting tested together is a good idea if you have prior experience. But, if you have any doubts, slow things down.

ecperience ?

Though that little tit-bit you threw in about there may be discrepencies , does that read as someone perhaps succumbing to the heat of the moment ?

i do nothing but bareback, wither it with fuck buddies or random guys or my current boyfriend. however we did agree before we started to take our relationship serious, we would get tested before we fucked each other raw.

i just get tested regularly when fucking with randoms or buddies. i do suggest that u keep a level and piratical head when going about barebacking.

I'm curious to know how that is either level-headed or practical. Getting tested regularly does not prevent you from catching HIV from a random hookup, it only tells you whether you got away with it or not.

Here's how it works:
  • someone gets tested,
  • they hook up bareback,
  • they get HIV,
  • they don't realise they're sick, untreated, and highly infectious,
  • they hook up bareback,
  • they infect somebody else,
  • they get tested,
  • and now they know.

That's not level headed or practical. Bareback works with a monogamous relationship. Bareback works with a long term fuck buddy if you're looking out for each other, even if you don't want a relationship. It does not work for random hook-ups.

When i discrepancies, i meant cheating. I think its a slight paranoia i have.

He wants to do bareback because condoms de-sensitizes him. I dont mind as long as we're strictly monogamous.

there isn't any practical in BB with random guys, but i do have quite a few fuck buddies that i can BB or vise versa without the trouble of thinking "is it safe?". I don't usually tend to shag random guys, its only once in a while, if i get bored with the list lol and then i'd usually get tested before having a go at anyone else. [learnt my lesson by doing that].

but in other things having fuck buddies you can trust and shagging ur bf BB can be do-able with common sense etc. so no reason why u can't.
