hey guys ive been thinkin about goin to the local bath house. what day and time do you guys think is the best time to go. if you have bath house stories feel free to tell them

No idea what’s the best time of day for a gay sauna (bath house) in California – anyway you’ve got probably loads to chose from.

The best idea is to go to one and ask the guy behind the counter – also depends on what you’re looking for.

At one local sauna here – Sunday afternoons is good if you have a “seduce a straight guy” urge – this is when all the Bi married guys go there.

In another sauna lunch time later in the week is when the local Asian students go – I tend to avoid this myself – too much competition.
 
We use to have two bath houses here in Cleveland. One shut down last year when (so I hear) they were supposedly caught doing major renovations without a permit. The other one---Flex Cleveland-- is nice, and really big! I have not been there in a couple of years,...I'll have to see about going back sometime soon. Just came back from a mini vacation to Toronto, where the bath houses are much nicer. There is a place there called Club Excess (or club X/S) which has a blackout maze. Narrow corridors where you cannot see much of anything. It's all about "touch"........;)
 
I second the website of bathhouse addict. Will give you plenty of information for bath houses in USA and world wide.

I like to visit the CLUB in St. Louis when I get the chance. Well taken care of facility with great staff and lots places to enjoy man to man actions.

Being gay there are straight, bi, married guys who visit the baths to find and explore man to man action.

Find a bath house near you go play safe and have fun.
 
i went to a sauna for the first time the other day... it was an interesting experience lol
really nervous at first but as you walk around for a little bit, jump in the steam room or sauna, look at all the hot bodies around, you get more comfortable
by the end of it i was getting a bj from this hot 30somthing guy whilst being watched by two other guys, it was pretty hot ;)
 
Play safe and make sure any and all partners are as well. Probably not best to go after too much alcohol or too high. It's too easy not to care what that guy is doing to you back there. Get tested for STDs regularly.

I know this is a downer, but it's the same principle as a fire drill. Gets you to go on automatic if excitement takes over.

There are two bathhouses in Dallas - Club Dallas & Midtowne Spa. Both are within blocks of each other just east of downtown. Club Dallas is the nicest, cleanest, etc. in my opinion and seems to be better maintained. Like any bathhouse, both have mixed crowds that vary depending on when you're there.

Club Dallas is on Swiss Ave. & Midtowne Spa is on Pacific Ave.

I went out a few times with a guy who managed the bathhouse in DC -- Crew Club. Most bathhouses have a "special" night (most on Tuesday) when they charge 1/2 price for rooms and lockers.

I used to visit a few and pretty much all have some type of special night. Friday and Saturdays are usually the busiest. It was interesting watching the crowd change, however. Early on were those who might be going to work and older guys that were slowly replaced as the evening wore on with guys who must have grown tired of chasing in the clubs and decided that for $25 they were sure to get laid whereas they might be buying drinks all night and not get the chance.

About 1 in the morning, the crowd begins to get drunk and more drugs. I remember one guy overdosing and being found at Crew Club...it caused them to change a lot of their rules.

Some guys will stagger in about 2 or 3 in the morning with hopes of snagging someone, shagging, and then falling asleep.

Sunday after church used to be hot, also. Not sure why but apparently the sermon caused some to seek spiritual release!

The hubby and I visited Club Ft. Lauderdale when we were there over New Years. They have a beautiful outdoor pool, lounges, great gym, and even serve a buffet on Saturday/Sunday. The place was packed.....

As mentioned, use condoms and purchase some lube prior to going (they'll sell it to you but at a grossly inflated price). Most batthouses have condoms out but since I need a...um...larger size, they are often harder to find (as does the hubby). We purchased our own so we knew they fit.
