i love ring the alarm...but i'm not sure how i feel about the rest of the album lol.
 
Yeah, the album has leaked everywhere! I only like 2 songs though.... In my opinion, the album is really weak and unimpressive for Beyonce.
 
I downloaded it (Bittorrent). I can't truly express in words how bad it is. If you're buying it expecting Dangerously In Love Vol. 2, or hell, anything mediocre to good, brace yourself.
 
I want Beyonce to fail and go away forever. I have only semi enjoyed one of her songs but the rest do nothing for me. Its bad when even her fans say about her upcoming release that they 'knew not to expect much'
 
The first two tracks are bland and uninspiring, I hated 'Check on It' with a burning, fiery vengeance, and wheeling her boyfriend in to constantly do up her tracks will harm her credibility.
 
B day is getting ALOT of promtion. Posters and ommercials are showing up everywhere. I heard she wrote and recorded the album in only 2 weeks, what was up with that?

Her last album won 5 grammys so she could have taken her time.

Anyways i do like the song "Resentment" only because i can relate to every word she is singing.

Its weird when you hear songs that speak of something you are either going through or have been though lol.

i love beyonce but maybe tavares and tierrasimms are brainwashing me cause i'm thinking the vids for deja vu and ring the alarm are kinda fucked...she's acting like a spastic freak...someone suffering from tourrets in both...it's all a bit weird...and the vids are beginning to affect how i feel about both songs which i liked at first.
 
So I bought the album yesterday for a friend for his birthday and I must say.......ummmmm......yeah........not good. The ONLY good song is the "hidden" track at the end of the album and it's totally a promo/Oscar bait for "Dreamgirls." I guess Ms. Knowles is starting her Oscar campaign early. The album was sub-par at best and why is she all of a sudden ghetto girl??? Isn't she from the upper class suburbs of Houston???? Please, B, take a break and just live life and come back with a truly great album full of great and listenable music. Love, a fan. :)
 
Whatever bitches, this one is better and more complete than Dangerously In Love, the only songs I liked on that one were the four singles, this album, all the songs were good.
 
i hate beyonce she is such a dick, her music sucks and whenever she sings live she has some sort of fit on stage and jumps around trying to be some sort of Tina turner type superstar, deja vu was a awful single and ring the alarm just does not stand out amongst all the rising stars eg Rhianna and fergie. Besides who would wana go near beyonce with a chinchilla carcus round her neck, i think she should stop wearing fur stupid bitch, she act all "oh thankyou lord for my blessings blah blah amazing grace" then she wears some dead animal round her fat ass, i think she should be hung up and skinned alive then worn by the original members of destinys child to next years grammys " oh kelly rowland what are you wearing" "oh its Vintage Beyonce Carcus"
 
You all are such pathetic haters. I find it shocking how people can hate a talented person for absolutely no reason. You might not like them, which is TOTALLY acceptable. But to completely discredit them and all of their ability... there is absolutely no excuse. If you honestly love music, you can't say she is trash, because she clearly isn't. You might not like the material, but the girl is BAD. Listen to her vocals on the album. Listen. Resentment. Ect...

Sorry, but she is the best entertainer out right now. And the funny thing is, none of you can do anything about it. Know why?

Because her 9 Grammy's say your opinion doesn't matter. And her Songwriter of the Year award from ASCAP (second female artist EVER to win that. And the first Black) says your opinion doesn't matter. And because she's sold almost 70 million worldwide in her career. And because her album sold 700,000 copies BEFORE it even came out in stores. And it's projected to sell another 700,000 it's first week in stores. And she just turned 25.

And it's received incredible reviews from ALL major publications this week.

That includes 4/5 from Blender and 4/4 from People.

So all opinions filled with HATE and no education at all are being dismissed. [-X
Truth be told... I honestly don't think Beyonce cares if people hate her for no damn reason. Because they don't matter anyway... only true fans of music. Because people who truly love music will respect her, even if they don't like her work. And for Beyonce, as long as her projects are critically acclaimed, she has NOTHING to worry about.

We're not dissing her musical abilities ^^^ (well, most of us aren't). My only complaint with Miss B is slapping a record together in 3 weeks for the sake of keeping up her public profile until she starts her Oscar campaign for Dreamgirls. I've been a fan of hers since the beginning and I own all the DC albums as well as her solo two so I have the right to say B'Day is by far her worst album with cliche'd music & songs. The music is sub-par from what I know she can do as an amazing songwriter & producer.
She just really needs to take a break for a while.....
 
Ok i can give credit for some of her song writting abilities but recently it has not been that great, its just so predictable and boring B,day is not that great and she couldnt even score a number one on the billboard hot 100 with deja vu which to a star like beyonce is a worrying sign considering it was her comeback single, her album also didnt hit the top spot in the uk this week and it came in at number 3 which again is a worrying sign especially seems the people placed above her in the charts had been out for 19 weeks already but she still couldnt knock them off, and to round it all of on her current album she has a song which was origionally written and recorded by victoria beckham so she hasnt even written the whole album which again seems worrying considering she is meant to be this amazing song writter she hasnt even managed to write a whole album and considering t has 10 song on is pretty lame. also that 700,000 presales is totally fake inless you mean the whole world, as at the moment the presales acording to official stats show a presale of 180,000 which is way of the current first week sales recored currently held by the dixie chicks who sold 780,000 copies of 'Home in its first week.

To round it up i am not doubting her talent and this blog is about the current album which is not great and considering she is still s young and only 2 albums into her career as a solo artist i think she could have done way better, and she has also recieved average views in the u.k and has not really had any 5 stars in any magazine of programme.

Honey, I hate to rain on your parade but she hardly wrote most of her songs. She co-wrote most of her songs, but she hadn't actually written any song that she has records by herself.
