Bear Magazine has returned! The rights to Brush Creek Media were lost in a lawsuit and Bear Omnimedia now owns Bear Magazine. The first issue is out and smoking hot.

I signed up for their mailing list and got the first issue free, just paid $3 for postage.

I'm not prepared to pay over a year in advance for shipping the first issue even if free.

Its a great news. BTW If it is not too much of a bother can you share Jack Radcliffe's pics from the first issue?

yeah..quite a few of the pics seem familiar from the net(and not just those of Jack). If I would have paid the full price, I'd have been pissed. Guess they didn't try really hard with this "free" issue(I at least hope future issues gonna be better or the magazine will likely be history again soon. You can't expect europeans to pay 12-14€ for an issue that's just a few pics from shoots that are already on the net, a handfull of rather uninteresting articles, a fantasy story and a really boring comic).

It seems like they wanna get the old issues online for a few bucks on http://bear-fund.org/
We'll see how that will work out in the future.
