Bears Bear & Twink Dating - Does it exist?

I'm 31, and not really old enough to be a "daddy." I'm hairy all over, so I guess I fall into the category of "big brother bear." I'm 5'10", weigh about 230 - 240 (I do work out, so my weight fluctuates), and am pretty handsome.

One thing I've always struggled with is the whole stigma of not chasing after guys because I fear they won't want me due to my looks. We all have our insecurities, and we're all a work in progress. That being said, at the end of the day, the kinds of guys that I'm attracted to are more on the athletic/twinky side - smooth, young-ish bottoms. And I often feel I have to apologize for it, because I guess it's seen as hypocritical in the gay community to chase after something you're not and never "can have." But, after reading many messages on this board, it does seem that there are quite a few guys that would interest me who like a bigger, hairy, masculine man such as myself.

So....where do you go to find your "opposite" who's looking for you? I tend to do the online dating/chatting thing a bit. Are there websites where opposites go to find each other? Any leads would help greatly. I don't date a whole lot, but as I get older, I'm starting to want to branch out, date more, and find a very special guy to call my own.

The reason I say that is because when searching profiles you can filter results based on how you and other people identify (for example - bear seeking bear, chub seeking chub, bear seeking chaser). We have been together for just over three months and our relationship is AMAZING. We have SO much in common. Anyway, your thread is not the right place to gush about that, haha.

Honestly, just put yourself out there and don't let porn fool you... there ARE gay men out there that look for that contrast in looks and size and don't want to just fuck their clones (hm, that sentence sounds negative but it's not supposed to be).

Sure it exists. I am 40 and my boy is 25, slim and smooth, although if you called hima twink he would have a sense of humour failure. But if you mean smooth, tomed/slim lads liking larger older guys, it is more widespread than you imagine. Do not fall for the 'media image'...

I would say it defiantly does. I typically identify in the bear community more because it what I find attractive. All though I have a very bear like personality and most of my friends are bears, I myself am a twenty year old five eight 150lb IT guy and the only really part that make me a twink is the beard and my personality. But my boyfriend is thirty four and he's a big ol bearded bear. We have been talking for two years and I just love him to pieces. Most people are insecure about how they look. I think look like a fifteen year old white Ethiopian child. I hate the way I look and my boyfriend dislikes his size. But sometimes the worst thing you may think about your self is what attracts others. He loves that I am pocket sized and I love his big fuzzy body. So yes there are people out there you just have to be patient. And as far as websites go I would try scruff or growler.
