The pupper has been sleeping in the bed with us since we brought him him 5 months ago. The other night I had to go out of state for a family emergency. Still away from home now. This morning my bf sent me a picture telling me the pup been sleeping at the front door waiting for me. Awwwwwwwwwwwww

Nice dog. Hope your emergency resolves itself and you get home to him soon.
Here are bits and pieces of the emergency.

Medical emergency
Unexpected discoveries
Death bed
Emergency surgeries
Miraculous survival
To be continued...

Wow ...

Hope you and your fam get through it all. Consider yourself hugged. (*8*)

What were the original emergency, unexpected discoveries and emergency surgeries?

Food poisoning -> massive kidney stone -> possible kidney failure -> organ infection -> aneurysm

The aneurysm was what made it life and death. It was suppose to be about 1cm. At the time it was 5cm. But they couldn't get to it before getting rid of the infection. And they couldn't treat the infection before finding out for sure if the kidney was still functioning. And they couldn't do that before removing the kidney stone.

The hospital he went to that discover all that could not deal with it. They called around and couldn't find a hospital that could deal with that. My dad requested that they give him pain meds and send him home. He was ready to go. This was when my mom pushed the panic button and we all hopped into our cars and drove home in the middle of the night.

A couple hours into my drive, I got news that they found a hospital willing to perform the emergency surgery needed to save his life that night.

Anyway, everything is good now a week later. He is at home recovering while my mom is taking care of him.

As much as I dislike hospitals, I am glad they exist.

And why have just one health emergency when you can have them all? (But I'm quite glad he's recovering.)

oh my god.

Think of that, guys: a two-inch kidney stone.

Wow.
I take it your parents aren't in or near a large city? Where was the hospital that ended up doing the operations?

Thank heaven.
And good on you for showing up for your parents like that when they needed you.

Well that was one hell of a ride for your father.

He is just lucky.

That is sad for the pup, yet cute.

Really sorry for the health scare and the emergency health matter.
