I consider myself halfway decent on PC's as well as the net and I even work online. Most of the places I visit or work for on the net has been for a good number of years and I forgot what it feels like to be a "Newbie" or "Noob" as some folks call it. It's all coming back to me
Yesterday I joined this site and yes I like it already but I have never been one to use forums that much and now I wish I had more experience. I managed to reply to a post or 4 so far and that was painless then I looked at my number of posts..Mine said 1 and the person I replied to had like 10,000...oppps kinda made me a tad nervous. I cant post images yet as I haven't mastered the art of doing so. I am not allowed it seems to start a new thread (But the faq seemed to think I should be able to) and I just now realized I have a home page and the ability to blog..
-) This may be real fun...) Now before anyone says "Read the (insert proper response here)" I plan on it as time permits. Mind you I am not complaining as I do know there is an answer to every question I have but it's just that Newbie (sounds like a romper room type word does it not?) feeling has washed over me for the first time in a long time. I keep thinking what if they dont like my posts, humor or ....I could go on but I wont. I just wanted to do my first blog and being a newbie what better a topic then that. I hope when I reach post number 10,000 I can look back and think "Being a Newbie wasn't so bad". So I thank you in advance for your patience as I explore the site and yes I plan to drop a few bucks in the bucket because unlike many other places of this type this one is awesome.
