my best friend and i are really close, we're both in college together, but lately i have wondered if he wanted a little more. we have always joked around with each other about cocksize and blowjobs, but he has always had a relationship with girls. but lately the jokes have become more frequent, and today he asked me how many people think we are a couple together. he said this while we were out getting ice cream and i was paying, because usually one of us pays for the other cause we are always paying each other back for paying the last time. but instead of just saying that, he kept on bringing it up, then ended the conversation with saying that 'at least he is the masculine one of the two of us' and that 'he'd be the top' so it was ok. the thing is, he doesn't know i'm bi and ive always been attracted to him, is he just carrying on the joke or was this a hint that he wants what he think people see us as.
 
Being best friends with someone usually implies that you know, how to gauge their statements, jokes, reactions.

Most dudes I have met so far tend to joke about sex practically all the time, if they deem that no one around would be offended. It's just the usual banter and it really doesn't mean much. Yet, exclusively str8 guys always watch their jokes. They go far, but only that far.

I'd say that you seem to feel that your friend is kinda putting out gentle feelers to you. He is joking? Yeah, sure. You can joke back, too.

Is he really interested in switching the teams for a moment or two? Who knows? Lots of guys would not mind getting their rocks off with another dude, if it stays just between the two of them and, if both guys see it as a bit of a joke and nothing really serious.

Thanks guys, as update he did today again when we were visiting a friend in the hospital, i felt uncomfortable responding there, but tonight during dinner i was going to try to have him say something so i can respond.

Congrats master. Funny thing you said about the ice cream. When my bf and I was in New York the first time around, I told him how I felt towards him and he responded that he was not ready for any serious relationships. Later that day, we were at the Trump Towers and we shared a bowl of ice cream together. Now we are sharing much more..our lives.
 
Ok, so know we are the first day after our first date, and to those who are wondering how it went, it went super well. To those who asked if I could tell more so that some who have the same problem could figure it out, I'll go back to the night we decided to give it a try. I took his lead and said a comment back like was suggested here, we then talked about how our frienship would change, we spend so much time together now that we agreed we shouldnt spend too much more time together. We already have time together alone plenty, so we thought all that would change is now that they we would be together and get to do some fun extracurricular stuff. That led us to making out for the first time. When we parted lips, we then talked more about how things should be and what precautions we could take cause we didnt want to loose each other as a best friend if things got weird. That led to last night's date which was super! We then back to my room and enjoyed the night. We did talk about having sex and decided that we shoudl wait and see how things go for a while, but that didnt stop me from finally getting to live my dying wish to blow him. I'm so happy that were now together, here's hoping things go well with my frist boyfriend!
