Beyonce or Whitney

Beyonce is better as a 'whole package' but Whitney's voice (pre-2000s) is the trump card. It might be more 'boring' to some that she 'just' sang and wasn't terribly image-obsessed, but in the end for me it's just songs that matter.
 
There is a new Biopic coming out about Whitney in December. I saw the movie trailer last night in the Theatre. They also have someone playing Clive Davis in the movie too. The actress playing Whitney can really sing like Whitney. Looking forward to seeing this movie!
 
Beyonce is my hometown girl and very talented, but Whitney had a "once in a lifetime" kind of voice that is influential and unmatched to this very day. Gotta give it up to Nippy.

For the voice alone I would pick Whitney if I had to pick between her and Beyonce of the two them BUT I didn't like her at all as a person. I would always pick Chaka over anyone though ❤️

I don't like Beyonce at all - mainly because I HATED her covers of Rose Royce - I LOVED Rose Royce and Gwen Dickey ❤️



I feel it when Gwen is signing - I feel nothing with Beyonce.
