Big Problem in a small town

OMG! My 2 brothers were walking in the woods on there moms property trying to find a good spot to hunt deer. She has 20 acers of land. Well while they were walking they found a bomb. :eek: So they called the state police.
From what the police said that is the 4th one they have found in a 5 mile area! They are made so that if the person touches them they will blow up! I live in a small town and stuff like this just does not happen. Now the FBI and the ATF are getting involved. They had to call in the bomb squad from out of town.
I guess I just do not understand why people want to hurt others. I think you have to be screwed in the head to do something like that. I am thankful that they knew not to touch it.
I guess all I can say is WTF is wrong with people?:grrr:

How is even a sicko supposed to get pleasure out of hurting people with these bombs? I seriously doubt that they're WATCHING or anything - they'll only see it in the newspaper or something.

I've said many times that when I eventually go to my grave, I will die NEVER HAVING UNDERSTOOD WHY PEOPLE CAN BE SO INHUMANE TO EACH OTHER. Of course there's no dispute that these sickos derive some validation by seeing religious extremists blowing each other up, or certain political leaders encouraging torture with impunity, etc.
 
Actually, I don't see much kindness or inclusivity in our society - but planting bombs for innocent bystanders is a new low.

No, I just meant that we do not have a lot of crime in our town. You would think of it being more in a big city but it can happen any where at any time. What ever or where ever it happens it is just wrong!
 
Your question is a good one! I wish I had an answer for you. But, for sure, the small town life no longer guarantees a halcyon existence as it did in the past.
 
What kinda bomb? Like a civil war thing that aint gone off or someone who hates bastards that shoot and kill innocent animals for no fucking reason whatsoever?
