Big Screen "Wonder Woman"...any news?

is Joss Whedon still supposed to be doing this movie? if anyone could make it hot it'd prolly be him. also any ideas who would make a good Wonder Woman? the last i heard they were considering Nadia something( can't 'member her name but she played "Chloe" on Days of Our Lives. been wracking my brain for awhile trying to picture the perfect woman for the role but nobody springs to mind

joss left the project because the studio didn't like the script or something like that.

then i remember the studio bought a script of wonder woman where the story is in the 1940's...i think. i don't know if they plan to use that script.

The only Wonder Woman we are about to see will be the one featured in the "Justice League of America" movie coming in 2009. As far as I know she will be played by an unknown in order to keep the budget under control.
