Bill Gates loses his grip on reality

"Distorting reality" is the way I'd describe Mac advertisements. I'm not taking sides on wich OS is better, but when I see commercials for ipods, Mac's, etc. they just seem false and too flashy.

To me seems like all mac users no that there using rubbish goods, so they keep slagging off Microsoft and Bill to make themselves feel better for wasting money on a Mac or iPod. ;)

Who cares who did it first?

Ford built the first automobile.

I still wouldn't drive a Ford.

An 18 y/o from England with an uncut dick of unknown size has all the answers. Prolly hasn't even used a Mac or an iPod or his dick for that matter at such a tender age. We are only trying to let you know that you have been fed a line of bullshit from Redmond Washington since Bill added a graphic user interface to MSDOS when you were a child.
It is apparent from the attached stock market graphs why Gates keeps knocking Apple even having a small investment in it. Add that to the fact that 50% of all new Macs being sold are to non Mac users is a good indication that peeps are sick of his shit and won't buy it anymore.
I really like the one about Macs being way expensive.:p

How rude lol!

Ive been on an iPod and cant use them. Just my fault there because im used to mobiles that are useful.

And Macs i tried one but it didnt have a normal thing at the bottom to see what was on it just icons so i didnt bother trying to use it.

Mac admit that the PC is beter for doing work on. I mean look at there new adverts. And ive never had a problem with doing fun stuff on a PC.

PCs look nicer and mroe stuff works on a PC.

Mac go on about how you get viruses on PCs. Since ive had Windows Defender and Avast (both free) on my computer ive not had one crash or virus or anything.

Id rather have a PC that can run stuff and i can do what i want, rather than have a MAC which looks nice.

Theres a reason why Microsoft are the leading OS.

Oh plus, like none of the games i like are on mac, but maybe if i wait about 5 years they may come out! ;)

What would be nice would be an article from an unbiased source

so they found 31 flaws in mac osx and one was major in 31 days thats no big deal is it:rolleyes:

I hate to break your little apple love fest but Gates is 100% right. Apple DID rip off many of the features in Vista/Longhorn. For example spotlight, which is a rip off of what at the time was WinFS, which among other things would search your desktop instantly. This was announced before apple began to talk about spolight. Plus Microsoft shipped Windows Desktop Search before Spotlight came out.

They also are now taking what is Windows Presentation Foundation and making their own version called Core Animation, and of course Time Machine, which is also something Microsoft has had for a long time as both System Restore( Win ME) and Volume Shadow Copy (Win 2003)

They have also built in thing Microsoft added earlier, like File Vault, which came after EFS.

Im pretty sure Bill isnt angry that Apple took these idea, after all all companies take ideas from eachother, but the way Apple users act and pretend that Stve Jbs is a god and does everything first is what pisses alot of people off.

Right, and you are a bastion of all truth?

MS had to invest in Apple, they were going under and someone needed to save their ass so MS wouldnt get sued for being a monoply, which only went so well.

Like anyone would expect praise for anything Microsoft / Gates related on MACWORLD?? Give me a break.

Yes you are partly correct. Apple wasn't in great shape like it is now but it was far from going broke. Gates' handlers figured the small investment would make MSFT look like a hero rather than the evil empire which it was, still is and forever will be until Gates retires. Microsoft was doing its usual fearmongering like *don't buy a Mac because they are going broke an you don't wanna get stuck with an orphan*. I guess he can't use that line anymore with Mac computer sales increasing avg of 30% year over year for the past two years.
Years ago in the system 7.0 days when Mac had CD players and MS didn't, Microsoft™ was doing a presentation of its multimedia capabilities to the press when the application crashed and voila, there was an apple at the top left corner of the screen. This was reported in Infoworld, a respected publication. They had nothing. It was vapourware like many of the ideas that are finally coming with Vista.

Don't confuse me with a Steve Jobs lover. The man is just as much of an a$$hole as Gates. I went with apple computers in '87 because I had outgrown the Commodore 64 and the MSDOS computers of the day were worse to use than the 64. Owning a design firm made up my mind with the software that came with the Mac. That is a decision I have never regretted.

Oh, well, Vista has some more security features of which one is included in the home edition. Suppose it can't hurt.

You can tell I am just jealous of Bill for buying QuickDOS for $50,000. and making billions on it.:D
