Even when there's no coercion involved it still feels a lot like watching your peers sell you out. Reminds me of MLK's remark about 'opportunists who seek profit for themselves apart from the struggle.'
Anywho, most people remain oblivious to the homoerotic shenanigans in entertainment but there are us detectives who see right through the charade and know what's going on at these parties. Mr Gangsta Gangsta be folded up like a pretzel in the Hollywood Hills and leaves with a sore hole and multimillion dollar deal with Gatorade or some shit. As an anti-capitalist I have to regularly remind myself that not being excited for the financial success of others is translated as hating, so, I guess, kudos to these young girls for leveling up??? I could give a fuck about materialism but collecting lots of $$ is supposed to be noteworthy. Hoorah?! Rather than be out in the streets getting your heart broken and getting fucked by broke losers I guess it's not a bad trade to give up some boochie for a spot in a Subway commercial with Samuel L Jackson and Rhea Pearlman (Devito?). I'd probably give up some buns for that chance.
