I just repeated what you said in a previous posting....People can look at the term "Down Low" anyway they like...At least the Men are upfront and if a person is not wanting to Fuck around with someone that is closeted then they can move on and find that perfect "One nighter"....

And i'm just curious and wanted to discuss that on the forum. Since this the Straight and Bi section of the forum, I thought someone reading this out there has experience with the subject (either by knowing closeted black men, or being one themselves) and can offer some form of insight or discussion. I've gotten that from a couple of posts in here.

lol And see, I didn't know that; All I heard was that it was a "classier version of Manhunt". I've checked the entire state of Ohio on Manhunt (and a couple of other sites) and I can count the number of black men i've seen there on one set of fingers. i go on A4A and suddenly there are ALL these cute black guys looking to play that I didn't even know existed five minutes ago.






It's about the surprising number (to the OP) of black men who are on the DL.

Now that I've said that--I went to high school and college with a good number of guys I was surprised to find out later on had been/still hook up with guys.

I'm going to reiterate this, but add that the next out of line post will be getting infractions and may result in a temp ban from this subforum (not the entire site just this subforum). A BUNCH of posts had to be deleted so tread very very carefully from this point on. I strongly suggest dropping the argument altogether and simply comment or not on the observation of the PP.

I don't mean to fire up anyone. I was just stating my opinion and I guess if people now view me as someone who is confrontational here, then I don't know what else to do.

The main reason why I don't see the point of the post, is not for the same reason Allman does. I did agree with him on one point though. The other more important point, Its the internet, pickings are slim. Closeted men of all races/ethnicities frequent these sites to look for hookups. The chances before the internet were slim for any closeted guys to play around without being caught or coming out of the closet. Now its that chance, little risk for them to play around and not get caught. Thats all I have to say about this now :-(

"Down low" and "Discreet" are, for all intents and purposes, the same thing. So really, what difference does the terminology make? Singling out closeted black men in this instance seems conspicous and bias. Let's not pretend that there isn't a plethora of white men on gay hook up sites who are just as "down low" as black men are, even if they specifically use that term.

Thank you. That's all I was saying in the first place...and everyone got their panties in a bunch! I didn't mean any harm or disrespect to anyone, I was just asking the OP for clarity of why he felt the need to post on this subject and what the difference was in the use of "down low" and "discreet". This is a forum where people chat, ask questions, and provide answers. If I can't ask valid and intellectual questions, then what't the point of having a forum? So I saw no need in the various attacks from Seiya174 and allyigator, etc. I have already apologized to the OP not once but TWICE, and yet people still felt the need to butt in attack me and add their two cents for no apparent reason.

Yea I have the same problem. Like fuck it's really annoying. Like they fear send a picture of themselves is automatically going to out them. Or the meet someone who openly gay is doing the same.
