Blood after anal

Ok we'll yesterday I had sex with my fuck buddy and after wards when I was cleaning up the sheets I noticed blood on them. It was like squirt of blood about 4 small spots the size of sprinkles. I got really scared because this has never happened before and while we fucked it did not hurt at all and I enjoyed it.

There was a point during sex that we switched positions and it felt a little uncomfortable/slight pain but nothing that I was concerned about. I asked him if he had an blood on him and he said he wasn't sure since he cleaned up in the dark. So I wiped my ass and there was just a very light and faint blood smear kinda, lighter than when you smear fresh ink on paper.

Anyway I'm just concerned about what happened and if I hurt myself in anyway D:

I'm so nervous and scared because I don't want to have anything wrong down there. We are both HIV negative btw. My ass doesn't hurt now, we'll my tailbone hurts but thats been hurting for a couple days before this. It does feel a little bit more sensitive now though D: I haven't pooped yet so I don't know if I'll have blood in that too.

I am not a Doctor so this is only my opinion.

Something similar happened last week with my partner, but it turned out to be a cut on my leg that I didn't realize I had.

Check to see if it could have been something like that for you...maybe a zit, scratch, cut or something like that.

I believe if it was serious, you might be feeling some pain or discomfort right now.

It could be an anal fissure and believe me you will know the next time you have a BM. It's not serious either if you get it treated. My Dr gave me a cream to use and it cleared up in a few days.

You say your tailbone hurts....This could be an indication of a small boil located right at the end of your tail-bone. From the outside it may look like a zit and it can bleed too. Again nothing serious and a trip to a DR can confirm this and the treatment again is just an ointment.

I will have to say this though....I believe you are a young guy and I'd hate for you to contract anything. Please play it safe and use a condom. I know it's not the same feeling as without, but....just play it safe.

I hope this eases your mind somewhat. If you continue to see any more blood or discomfort get to your Doctor pronto. He will let you know for sure what's going on.

Kind of the gist of the answer is that the lining of the rectum has a lot of blood vessels. These can get scraped during anal sex and bleed- much like the gums or the lips can bleed if they get scraped or banged around.

Lay off the anal for a few days. If you continue to see pink blood on your toilet paper after bowel movements, get a hemorrhoid oinment with hydrocortisone from the drug store and use it. Warm baths with bath salts also helps.

Also try to eat extra fiber for a week or so. This will help soften your stools and prevent straining during bowel movements which can aggravate the problem.

If it doesn't resolve itself after a week, then make an appointment with your doctor.

General rule- as long as it's a small amount of blood and the blood is pink or red, it's usually hemorrhoidal bleeding. Dark crimson blood, or maroon tarry stools are bleeding from higher in the gastrointestinal tract- you should see your doctor ASAP when the blood is dark crimson.

Ok we'll i'm only half relieved now after pooping today. Didn't hurt pooping and there was no blood after wiping or in it.

Only thing I'm worried now is that even though the blood that I initially saw on the toilet paper and parts of the bed sheet were light pink the part where there was a splatter of small spots of sprinkle sized blood was crimson colored.

D: What does this mean?! I'm so confused right now.

This is not going to be the most appetizing of posts, so I apologize in advance.

Just to clarify- the crimson color would be in the toilet mixed in with the stool. It looks like tar but it stains the water crimson. It's a sign of bleeding from the stomach or small intestine. I wanted to make that clear since blood in stool is a serious symptom and shouldn't be dismissed as just hemorrhoids.

It looks like this:

Dried blood in small amounts on your sheets was just from the bleeding. As long as it is small amounts, that is normal from hemorrhoidal bleeding. It's also not unusual for you to a little pink on your toilet tissue or something that looks a little like lipstick for a few days until things heal.

It sounds like you're already healing. Just take it easy and don't do anal for a few days to give yourself time to heal.

Four days might be a little soon. You might want to try a thicker lube (lots of lube). If you feel any pain or burning when you're getting fucked then stop.

And if the bleeding recurs after Friday, then definitely use a hemorrhoidal ointment or suppository to get the inflammation under control and help strink the swelling.

We did use a lot of lube though and it didn't hurt while we were fucking but maybe the lube was wearing off after we started D: i guess we'll try better lube.
