any gum problem?

may need antibiotics if there is an infection.

Try not to brush too hard. Ususally bleeding of the gums is a result of tenderness due to inflammation. If you can, try rinsing with an antiseptic mouthwash for a couple of days and see if that helps

Above all else... start flossing... once every f***ing day.

Is this anything to be worrying about?

No reason to be worried. It's usually a sign of trauma to the gums from rigorous brushing.

If it happens every time you brush, you should consider flossing more often.

I saw a chap who came to A&E/ED/ER/Casualty with bleeding gums when he brushed his teeth.

Out of pure spite for wasting my time, I decided to waste his time by checking his full blood count.

I felt a bit guilty when I saw that he had a platelet count of 23 because of the acute myeloid leukaemia that neither of us realised that he had.

Plan: Ref Medics

This is, of course, a real zebra diagnosis - more than likely you just have friable tissue in your mouth because of the burn. Put some polyfax gel onto it to protect it for a few days.

flossing is only works for healthy gums. If the gums are infected flossing may make things worst. Only antibiotics will get rid of infection.
