I have noticed many Blu Rays also come with DVDs and sometimes a code for a digital copy of the movie. I understand the digital copy, but why would anyone want or need a Blu Ray and a DVD of the same movie? I don't get it.

I choose Blu-ray first.

I have come across plenty of titles, like from Criterion Collection, which combine both.

I personally don’t need that. But, it may have been a manufacturing decision to cover both for the sake of the consumer.

On that note anyone know how to not have the action or singing on a blue ray not shoot to insane volumes during playback? We have no sound bar or speaker system but we were watching bohemian rhapsody *yawn not a fan and the singing was enough to wake the dead but then the dialogue was really shitty and quiet any thoughts???

I am not a techie, but I believe it is designed that way so you can rock out. Movies and TV shows do they same thing if they want to point out important info or change the feeling of a scene.

It sucks because I am hard of hearing so it is loud already and when I watch something at 4am I a scared I will wake up the people above me.
