Our plan was/is to stroll around the harbour and see The USS during late morning/early afternoon, so we're going to be in Boston all day...

What were you guys thinking?! - Lunch, and/or dinner and drinky-drinky in the evening!? :badgrin: (UU)!!
I'd guess late afternoon onwards, cos it'll be on a Friday, and most wont finish work until 4PM onwards, right?!

OK boys, I seriously cannot wait for this. It's gonna be awesome, I can already tell!

Yeah, I will have all day on the 24th off so we have the whole day to do all the touristy stuff. Definitely a nice dinner and a night out should be in the works!!

I hope other JUBbers out there can make it too, maybe some from Rhode Island, Connecticut, or even NYC?

If we do any touristy things that take group rates then we should probably know in advance who all is coming. But we have a while before April.

I can't wait!!!!!
 
I work until 9...but if you guys plan on some night time activities I may be able to make it out for some drinks

And how can you come to Boston and NOT go out for drinks??!

pub, lounge, dance type place?

What about for dinner??
 
I've been there one night but just for drinks and dancing. I don't know how the restaurant part is. We could definitely try it though.

There are better restaurants in that neighborhood (the South End) or close by. The Club Cafe restaurant is okay. though
 
I just saw this posting on the Forum headlines. If I'm still not working by then I would like to join up and meet some of you guys. It'd be fun to see some fellow jubbers in three dimensions instead of the usual two. :-)

Hopefully, the weather will be nice so we can hang out out of doors if possible or at least walk around town doing stuff.
 
Did you guys wanna go to the famous Cheers for dinner at all? I just went this past weekend and had a good time :)
