The Venezuela government, run by dictator Hugo Chavez, is the sole
owner of CITGO gas company.

Based in Houston, Texas, CITGO is a refiner and marketer of
transportation fuels, lubricants, petrochemicals, refined waxes,
asphalt and other industrial products. The company is owned by PDV
America, Inc., an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Petróleos de
Venezuela, S.A., the national oil company of the Bolivarian Republic
of Venezuela.

Venezuela Dictator Hugo Chavez has vowed to bring down the U.S.
government. Chavez, president of Venezuela, told a TV audience:
"Enough of imperialist aggression; we must tell the world: down with
the U.S. empire. We have to bury imperialism this century."

The guest on his television program, beamed across Venezuela, was
Cindy Sheehan, the antiwar activist. Chavez recently had as his
guest Harry Belafonte, who called President Bush "the greatest
terrorist in the world."

Chavez is pushing a socialist revolution and has a close alliance
with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

Regardless of your feelings about the war in Iraq, the issue here
is that we have another socialist dictator in this hemisphere vowing
to bring down the government of the U.S.

And he is using our money to help finance his goal!

After his speech in the UN, there is NO way in hell I will buy anything that will help Chavez with his goal to bring the US down!

I hope the rest of you will also consider NOT buying from CITGO!

I only buy Caseys gas, but that's only because they sell their premium gas for the same price as regular. Supposedly the Citgo here waters down their gas but who knows.​

Its one thing for foreigners to agree (I really don’t care what they think), but it's a whole different story when Americans are joining the bandwagon of some South American dictator. I can't stand Bush. I actually loath the man and his smug attitude. He should be thrown into prison and his administration should be gone, the sooner the better for the USA and the world. But the decision to end him and his administration should come from within the USA, nowhere else. And any American agreeing with Chavez and his threats the USA is no different than a traitor in my book.

Back in 1998 when a president could only run for 5 years without being reelected. He increased the presidential period to 7 years WITH the possibility of reelection. He's now talking about unlimited reelections.

There was a referendum to revoke him but most of us believe there was fraud. We were not allowed to recount.

For those who agree with Mr. Chavez they should move to his country if he's such a great man. I am sure they will be free to be gay there and express themselves the way you can't here. I am sure I will find some citizens of Venezuela that will gladly take their place.
