I appreciate him making the statement...one of the rare times when I don't mind a celebrity using their status to make a social/political statement (take the good with the bad I guess). He and Angelina must have discussed it as an issue they would support together for him to come out and publicly state it in this Esquire interview. They have no personal gain by taking this stance either...seems only to raise social awareness to benifit others. Whether this small comment really has any effect is doubtful ...but then again yahoo and others have run the story...so it may get a few people talking...and so on. Rosie was talking about her own marriage on 'The View' the other day...so kudos to them for keeping it in the American living room.

I'm not sure it means anything but publicity.I'm not as hung up on gay marriage as lots are-as I have said before,we'll see domestic partnerships here before marriage,and I think that is a good thing.Real legal commitment for gay and lesbian couples enacted into law,hopefully leading to the passage of gay marriage rights in the future.Pitt seems like he's looking for an excuse,and with celebrity egos always seeming to lead to inevitable breakups,perhaps it is a good thing he and Angelina won't marry-we need positive images that last,not a good word from the latest celebrity flavors of the month.

I don't know. Maybe it doesn't really mean anything, but I like the fact that both of them seem to care more about issues in the world than themselves. It can't hurt that they (and others) have stated that gay marriage is an important message.

I think I would like knowing both of them (although I'm not sure that Angelina might scare me a bit) and Brad it hot, hot, hot.

I really do appreciate this recent statment by Brad Pitt. I'm sure that there are others in Hollywood who feel the same way. This is awesome!!!! Brad Pitt you rock!!!!
