Bradley Cooper directs GaGa?

is it april fool's day in august? the two are in for a remake of A Star is Born? i honestly don't get the arrogance .1954's version was a sublime work of art...one of those stand alone moments in film history...GaGa is no Judy...Cooper is no Cukor/ nor Mason/

what in the world could they do to improve it ?...perhaps Cooper as Norman Maine, could be reinvented as a closet case/ not a far stretch/........very down on his luck.......but GaGa? she should not discrace the memory of Hollywood's greatest talent.

She's a walking legend and Bradley Cooper is just great talent. Hurry up and make this happen.

To be fair even the Garland version was a remake with some great songs thrown in.

Gaga was okay in AHS but she was basically just doing 3-4 minute videos, not sure she could hold a whole film up, plus A Star Is Born without the song The Man That Got Away in it holds no interest for me.

Not to mention i can't stand Bradley Cooper.

To be honest, I think she'd be great in a whole movie. I actually want her to play Elena in the uncharted movie they're planning on making.

She's such a great actress and her time on AHS is historic.

Bradley is excellent.

well, we have a die hard GaGa fan posting here......i'm glad she gives such hope and satisfaction, to so many people...but...

watch George Cukor's 1954 version of ASIB, again, please......if only just to see judy do ' the Man that got away.'.......especially note the situation,the seamless entry, the gut reality of a gal singing her heart out, the beauty of the fast fading judy, the hope sadness and desire we have all known, and have had....
touch our hearts ,while judy is tearing her heart out, and scorching the silver screen......it just doesn't get better than this!

Lady Gaga is basically the Judy Garland of the 21st Century so it's makes sense that she'd be great doing it. This isn't just about being a die hard fan of her work it'a about a woman who could make this work in so many ways.

Bradley is not just good he's always been a great actor and did you ever watch Silver Linings Playbook? What a tremendous man.

Gaga is a good singer/songwriter but why this movie? This movie unless it has a great script is going to bomb at the box office! Bradley Cooper is a great actor! He has proven himself with some great movie roles, but why this movie for him too?
