So, after four surgerys in the last year i discovered a lump in my chest. Went in right away and had a sonagram and biopsy. Tomorrow I go in to remove my growth...only good thing is the doc says he can probably save my nipple. Any of you guys had your breast removed and how did the recovery go?
 
Well the surgery went well. The tumor was 7 ounces and benign. Glad to have it gone though. I can live with the sixteen stiches but damn it sure hurts. The pain pills help but I have to sleep in a chair for at least a week.

Good to know all went well and that it was benign. Granted sleeping a in chair for a week may not be that comfortable but at least you will be able to sleep in peace knowing that the damn thing is out!

You are one lucky dude!
Fella here had breast cancer and it killed him.......not right away but it did its dirty work.
 
Going to Mayo Clinic tommorow to meet with a oncologist and make sure the locals here didn't miss anything. Lucky for me I'm only 55 miles away. We have the best but most expensive heathcare around.
