So what do you guys think of this? Have you ever met or saw a guy who looked like a major bottom when he was a top? Do you think it's weird for a skinnier guy to top a buffer dude? Should everyone just be verse? Discuss.

Yes, this is a personal issue with me. I've always wanted to fulfill the sexual position of the archetype that my body gives me. To me and probably to a lot of other people, I look like a typical bottom. I've tried to be verse, I really have, but so far bottoming just doesn't do it for me. I feel nothing..Maybe they are doing it wrong. I'd love to give it another try but...I just feel more satisfied topping. Though I feel weird topping a guy that looks like he should be the dominant one.

In my fantasies I'm always the submissive one, the one that the other guy has his way with(With respect, of course) but when it comes to sex, I take a bit more of the assertive role.

Is it me? Do I just need to stop getting hung up over the out dated gender/sexual position stereotypes and roles and just have fun fucking other guys? Should I give it another try?

Know the feeling. In my head, I'm a power bottom. I only get turned on the most when someone is getting fucked hardcore. Like pounded. In real life, don't know if I could handle that/get anything out of that.
 
I know exactly how you feel. Me myself, I consider myself to be vers. In my head, I am always having fantasies of myself getting pounded. But in real life when I get fucked, its not like what I imagined in my fantasies :(

But.......later that's when I found out that most of the guys who have top me didn't know how to do it right. There was only 2 occasions where I found guys who top me the right way and I wanted more :)

But to answer your question, don't let the stereotype beat you up. Do you know how many bottom looking boys that I know that were tops!? One of the two guys who did top me right was one of them. This guy I was talking to months ago who I thought was a bottom turned out to be a top and he HATED to bottom.

The pornstar Asthon Phillips is known to be full top. In all of his videos he tops. Another pornstar whose this pale, skinny emo kid was a full top also. (Don't remember his name tho.) So ask tell yourself this, do you have to resort into being a bottom just cuz you look like a bottom boy? Nope. Why follow the rules of social standards that are required within a community?? I am black, does that mean I have to rap, love r&b and speak ebonically? Again nope. I am far from the stereotype.

You like what you like, do it and embrace it.

You're overthinking it. Either person can be the one that first shows interest and either can be the one to make the first move. There are no rules like this. The only way to know who is the top or bottom is to ask the other person and figure out what you both like better or are wanting to do. :)
 
Oh well.. I feel like a bottom but I look like a top. I don't care really, as long as I have fun :)
 
I did not realize there were sex position assignments based on how a person was built. I thought it had to do with what the person enjoys the most.

I am a total bottom because that is what I enjoy. I tell the guy up front I am a "total" bottom which means there is no way in hell I will top you!

So, forget all this label and stereotype bullshit and do what you enjoy!
 
How the fuck does someone "built like a bottom" look?

Just because he is skinny he should be a bottom? And if he teams up with someone who is "skinnier" should he become a top or what :confused:

Thats how my fantasies are now, Im still a virgin but on all gay hookup/chat sites I list myself as BOTTOM (not even bottom/vers), because the idea of topping does not appeal to me
 
I don't think it's weird for a skinny guy to top a muscular dude.... it's hot ;D

I say, go for what makes you most comfortable. Maybe you're just not into bottoming? If so, who cares? Maybe eventually you'll get into it. It takes time to know what you want.
 
you can't judge a person by their looks on if they are tops or bottoms.

body size, looks, or even dick size means nothing when it comes to these roles.
