Ask your Doctor!! Embarrassed,? ask him he is the only one to know for sure.

It is not that easy to ask a doctor questions such as these. I have been lucky so far and have been able to avoid this and similar procedures but they have not been ruled out and it would be nice to have an answer just in case it ever gets to that point.

There's not an anatomical reason why you can't indulge in anal play. Although the consistency and acidity of your stool may be a factor to consider.

If you're not comfortable asking the question of your GI surgeon, you might want to ask the enterostomal nurse that your surgeon works with or find a gay-friendly general practitioner to ask. Both GPs and ET nurses are used to answering these kinds of questions and tend to be less uptight than some surgeons can be.

Find a gay-friendly or even a gay doctor and ask them. That way you don't have to have the embarrassment of asking your regular doctor, but this is a question that needs to be answered by one.

Holy cow man... ASK THE DOCTOR... that is what they are there for.

Man the doc knows all about your insides anyway by now... just be open and upfront with him.

Im sure it will be ok to be a bottom after that suregery.. but then I'm not a doc..
Just ask him my friend..
Doctors don't judge, they are our friends in all things to do with health and life.

Please just ask him.. get his judgement.
Do it as favor to me man.. PLEASE.

If u kept ur anus/rectum I think your OK. I would say ask your former Stoma Nurse. Truthfully they are brilliant caring ppl or see if there is a support group for those with pouches and those like yourself have been fortunate enough to get the reversal. You could find the issue there or website based around the disease may help.
