Good to read that you had the courage to out yourself to you parents and that both of them reacted in a positive way. I think that you must give your parents some time to get used to the new situation. So your parents had already thought about the reason why you did not seem to have much interest in girls. I agree with others that your parents are loving persons who take much care about you being a happy guy.
