HI, I have had problems with several porn sites where the videos do just not happen unlike others where they do. ie., I cannot see this video--can you?

I am really serious about this. I have a PC, and if you also do there MUST be some freakin reason I can t see it--I have broadband and like said can watch other vids on other sites. I need someone who is technical to please help me understand this MYSTERY?
 
First, this should be in teh Tech forum, not necessarily here...

Second, I need to know what kind of Operating System you have. Is it Windows 98, ME, XP, Vista, 7? Either way, you probably need to update your Adobe Flash, and install the plug in for Firefox, and Internet Explorer.

AHHHH at last!!! :-):-):-) I have been really frustrated by this. I asked a similar question at these forums a while back, but jost got a smug reply----I can get it. Its really hot!

So --right. I am not really technical so let me go slowly if you will with what your asking me:

What kind of operating system do I have? I think it is XP (how do I find out for sure. Is it very important to be sure before I try what your asking me to do?)

You need to update your Adobe Flash? How do I do that?

You install the plug in for Firefox. I already have Firefox as my browser. Is that what you meant?

I am confused what you mean about installing a plug for Internet Explorer, because I am nearly always using Firefox as my browser.
 
Ok, this is how you check the OS:

1. Go to Start, and then right click on My Computer. Click on Properties.

That should tell you what OS you have, as well as other information.

As for Updating Adobe Flash, go here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ And install it :)

Also install Shockwave: http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/

That should install the plug in for Firefox. When I use the term, "Plug In", it simply means a piece of software that allows for something to work. Often times, when you have problems with videos not working, it's usually Adobe Flash, or even Shockwave. Try updating those and see if it works.

OK, as far as I am aware I now have Adobe Flash and Adone Shockwave, yet I still cannot see the video at the porn link I gave above. So why is this?

ALSO so theres no confusion. When your at that site--there are SOME videos that appear when I click on some of the pics, but also there was ones where all there is is this video-sized white squares space to the left (with some of the pics around it) but no video materializes. Do any of you get that? Ie., maybe you could have clicked on some pics and got vids and thought i mean that. But it is when i click on one and I am on same page but with this inactive white square to the left where I am presuiming a video should appear.
 
I use Fire Fox, with "Scripts" turned off (add on) - I couldn't see the video until I allowed Scripts.
