I was doing some bicep curls using dumbells, 3 days ago, but my left arm is still sore, and I can't straighten it fully. Any advice?

What's it look like? Is it discolored? Where's the pain? If it's been 3 days, my first inclination would be to see a doctor.

You might`ve just torn a few too many muscular strands for it to be healed in the normal 2-3 days. I doubt there`s anything too wrong, but then again, i`m no doctor.
Just look at this pic.
The things that get torn when you train, and that makes you feel sore, is the myosin filaments, if i`m not mistaken. Which is absolutely normal. Though it hurts.

Though, you should go see you doctor. No reason not to.

Same thing used to happen to me when I did arm curls. Just try to slowly straighten your arm out a little bit at a time.

Make sure you're fully extending your arm with the dumbbell while doing curls.

I used to get that every year when I picked back up my heavy lifting after
my sports season. The first day of hard lifting always left my arms to the
point of not being able to bend them. Just let them relax for whatever long
it takes to feel better then you should be fine to start again. Don't worry,
you didn't ruin your arms:-)

Adidas is correct...unless you have this feeling for weeks (if so see a doctor), then just think of it as your body reminding you of your hard work you put in at the gym

You're probably fine. Just go a bit slower next time and maybe decrease the weight a bit.

Actually, a body can get used to something very fast. Did he overdue
it that day...yes...because it sounds like he hasn't lifted that much and all
of a sudden he decided to go like a bat out of hell on arm curls. But that
is over with now...the body will deal with it. I will bet if he does that
same routine now(given that he feels better), his arms will feel much better
after the next workout. Just stick with it...to many folks lift for a day then feel
sore and never do it again.

BTW pinkrose, just so you know, the bicep IS NOT the biggest muscle in the arm...
the TRICEP is. Only letting you know this because I know so many people
that do curl exercises after curl exercises because they think they are gonna
get those big sexy arms by only doing them. No sir!!!...triceps are the arm muscles
you want to work hard and have explode.

Related question: How important is stretching before lifting WEIGHT?
Does that reduce the DOMS? Or will that happen just because you've worked the muscle as much as it takes to make it have the DOMS condition?
