I'm always in awe at the creativity of animators. When well executed, animation can make even the worst episode of Star Trek: Voyager watchable.
Here is a short cartoon clip done in the style of Filmation's, "Star Trek: The Animated Series", from 1973.

All of Filmation's production flaws have been lovingly recreated for the episode where Janeway and Paris became salamanders.
Surprisingly, I wouldn't mind seeing the entire episode done this way, as long as Neelix keeps quiet.

Wow, that's that's the first shuttle craft I've seen with warp drive! And then there's the troubling aspect of Janeway possibly being raped or sexually assaulted while unconscious, to render those salamander babies. Nonetheless, it was interesting to see the animation clip, though I don't think even that would be capable of saving such a full-length bad episode. And there's a lot to be explained. Humans evolving into salamanders in 24 hours, a shuttle craft that can outrun the Enterprise, sensors which were unable to scan the ship, etc?
