Cascada new album "Perfect Day" & Vanessa Carltons new album "Heores & Thieves"

Anyone got these albums? If so what do you think?

Cascada - I love Cascada by default, and i love the style which i guess is categorised Vocal Trance. I don't know if i like the Album as much as Everytime We Touch, but its till good. I think its more pop. What songs do you guys like? I'm in love with "Because The Night" "Runaway" "Perfect Day" "What do you want from me?" and "Sk8ter boi".

Vanessa - I love her. sh'es probably one of my favourite artists period. Its hard to top Harmonium her second Album and its style, but "Heroes and Thieves" is alright. I didnt really like it at first but the songs grew on me. "Put Your Hands On Me" "The One" "Come Undone". I have a huge soft spot for the song "Home" which i think is beautiful, and also "More Than This" which is pretty much moving to tears lyrically.

So yeah anyone agree disagree?

Cascada's got a hot new hit climbing Billboard's Dance Club Play Chart: "What Hurts The Most."

Yes, it's a cover of the wimpy Rascal Flatts song. Needless to say, hers is awesome.

Vanessa's cd has been out for a while now. Its really good. I think its her best work yet.

Vanessa's one of the most underrated artists in the business today, and she's one of the few that hasn't slutified herself to sell records. Although I like the songs on Heroes and Thieves, the arrangements and colours of Harmonium hold a special place in my heart. Definitely an album worth checking out if you like listening to real music.

I can't wait for next year when "Hands On Me" is released as the second single. I think it get her back in the game better than "Nolita Fairytale".

Harmonium captured every single emotion i was feeling at the time so uncannily. And Heroes and Thieves is shaping up to do the same. I agree Nolita Fairytale is far from my favourite. In fact that, "Spring Street" and "My Best" i don't like. She is my favourite artist ever.

Whatever i am feeling, her songs just characterise every sentiment, she is just so moving. I was listening to "More Than This" the other day, i didn't like it at first but its grown on me. I was literally in tears. Its just so beautiful, just a person to love, who leans in to steal a kiss...and we will never need more than this. Just gorgeous.

Yeah i totally loved Harmonium man....awesome. Papa, Half a Week, She Floats, Annie, Private Radio, White Houses, The Wreckage. Loved it all. So so special.

You guys should hear "Dark Carnival" as well if you can. And also some songs from her demo tapes. "Devil Dance" "Burden" "Wonder" "All i ask" and "faces" to name a few.

All the remakes she has done i've liked better than the originals. I know everyone has redone it, but i love "Because The Night" its one of my favourite tracks on the album.

I'm loving all of the stuff that both artists have done. He's all That, Perfect Day, and What Hurts the Most top my favs on Cascada's new cd.

As far as Vanessa goes, the only things that I can say that are negative about her cd is that she is out of tune quite frequently. I know that it means that she's real and all that, but couldn't they go back and rerecord that one part? Other than that, her album is amazing. I got it this summer, and I've loved it ever since.
