I'm a James Bond fan.

There was a time when you could name the Bond Film, and I could give you the villain and the basic plot.

I was a little worried about the new Bond movie, but a new trailer has convinced me to go give it a chance before I condemn.

Yeah, I think that's a downer as well.

Also, the trailer is making it look like this is where he is first promoted to a 00 agent. If that is so, why is Judy Dench M? There would have been a different M since Goldeneye made it clear that she had just become M in it. I'm a big time Bond fan and I have serious doubts about this one.

(Didn't really think much of Die Another Day, either.)

Great trailer! Being a Bond fan myself I had my doubts about Craig winning the role, I had my heart set on Clive Owen becoming Bond. Nevertheless, the trailer had my attention and Craig looked pretty darn good (blue trunks anyone?) as Bond and it seems that the film has a dark, serious tone. I'll be there in November when the movie opens.

I hate to sound superficial, but I don't think he's good looking. I'm not into the "pretty boy" looks either, but I can't get into him. I grew up watching the Roger Moore films, and he was a very fine looking gentleman. The movie looks interesting, but I stopped watching the Bond films after they replaced Moore as 007. Daniel Craig did well in the movie where he's schtupping the mother of his girlfriend. I'm not rooting against the movie, but I'm not rooting for it either.

Although I thought that Pierce Brosnan could have done one more 007 film, this new guy looks interesting. Actually like the black/white in the trailer. I read that the next film will reveal a rather friendly "bond" between JB and Felix Leiter, US intelligence agent. Doubt they will bed each other, but it could be interesting.

OK, he's the most Ruggedly Handsome Bond in about 25 years, and he's got the best body ever... MAN, those swim trunks made me weak.

Who cares if he's blonde? He sure looks like the best actor to do him since Sean Connery too, and it looks like they finally have broken away from that boring formula that has made the last 7 movies all feel like the same one.

Can't wait to see it, and that's the first time in YEARS that I've said that about a James Bond movie.

Umm... check out screencap for 'Casino Royale'. It looks very '24'... and something much darker than previous Bond films. And also for those of you who are looking for it, yes... Craig is naked.

I'll wait to reserve all judgement until it actually comes out. I would've liked to see Clive Owen get the role, but I have hopes that Daniel Craig can pull it off.
I, for one, am glad they kept Judy Dench. I also remember in Goldeneye it being mentioned that she had just taken over as "M." But I like the fact that there will be some familiarity in it.
I wasn't a huge fan of Die Another Day. It just didn't feel right to me. I mean, I guess it was an okay movie in general, but I didn't think it fit in to the Bond series.

Yeah, he's also in that new Truman Capote biopic with Sandra Bullock. He plays one of the killers from "In Cold Blood." The trailer looks awesome.
