I don't know if you guys in the US (or other parts of the world) have ever seen Catherine Tate. She's absolutely bloody hilarious! I watch a "best of" last night that I'd recorded the night before. My personal favourite is the old woman who swears like mad and gives everyone stick behind their back but is nice as pie to their face! If you've not seen her, and get a chance, do, it's well worth it!

I TOTALLY agree! I am downloading all of Season 2 right now. I first saw her on BBC here in Holland, but when I was back in the States last month, my friend had tivod her (on BBC I think ). My favorite character is the student girl ("I'm above it"). She is a comic genius! You MUST see her show if you haven't yet.

Smakelijkus: If the character you're referring to is Lauren what she actually says is "Am I bovvered?" which is a slightly slang way of saying "Am I bothered?" meanging she doesn't care.

Catherine Tate is genious. I hope the third series will be as funny as her last two

She can be very funny, but I think that she goes for the cheap laugh a little too often. Tracey Ullman and Carol Burnette proved that you don't have to resort to fart jokes and vulgarity to get a laugh.

She is so funny! My favourite is the couple who tell eachother stories and are really enthusiastic about it. Then they break down laughing about the stupidest thing, like lifting a fork instead of a knife or something.
